Nice post Grey!
We can only put Planetary Customs Offices in low of null space where some asshat will promptly blow them up. Not a 100 million investment I want to make until we can protect it.

CORP JOBS
Corp jobs are responsibilities that players within the Corp assume. To compensate them, there are bonus shares of profit awarded to the people who shoulder these responsibilities. These are not Director positions, but are delegations of responsibilities to players because building and running a Corp is a full time job for one person to try to do it all. These are all positions of high trust, as you'll see when you read through them. The positions that have Sebastian Rutger's name beside them are either positions the CEO would like to, or is willing to give up. The available positions are:
Corp Trader: Sebastian Rutger. Puts Corp products on the market and creates income for the Corp from these products. Evaluates the market to find ideal markets for the Corp to produce in. Coordinates with Corp Diplomat and Chief Industrialist to negotiate down deals with other Corps.
POS Crew: Sebastian Rutger. Ensures the POS is online and fueled. Hauls fuel blocks to the tower as needed and hauls manufactured products from the POS to the market system and station.
Chief Industrialist: Sebastian Rutger. Lets the Chief Refiner know what minerals are needed for upcoming manufacturing based on what the Corp Trader tells him we can make the most income on. Ensures the manufacturing takes place for Corp needs. Assigns research slots in our POS and makes slots available to players if lines become available, but Corp manufacturing has priority.
Chief Refiner: Sebastian Rutger. Refines minerals for the Corp and for Corp members, providing them with the best possible refining for their ores. Keeps up with the ores we have and the minerals we need for the manufacturing we have coming up and lets the Mining Chief know what we need to mine. Also coordinates PI with the people contributing PI materials to have enough PI materials to cover our needs, and makes the rest available to the corp trader to sell for the corp.
Chief Researcher: Sebastian Rutger. Assigns research slots in our POS and makes slots available to players if lines become available, but Corp blueprints have priority.
Mining Chief: Impex Avalon. Coordinates with the Chief Refiner and Chief Industrialist to determine what ores to mine and in what quantities. Tracks the hours that players spend mining in Corp ops for the ores for the Corp and transporting them to the station the Chief Refiner designates. Coordinates with the Profit Sharing Accountant to let him know what hours each player spent on the Corp’s behalf.
Mission Chief: Aven Valkyr. Coordinates with the Profit Sharing Accountant to let him know what hours each player spent on the Corp’s behalf running missions and salvaging. Coordinates with the Chief Industrialist to determine what salvage the Corp needs from mission running.
Profit Sharing Accountant: This person tracks and accounts for the profit shares each member earns throughout the month, track costs and profits of the Corp, determine how much a share is worth each month, and how much each player is individually owed after the month ends.
Recruiter: Impex Avalon. Fills our ranks with good, non-spy, non-thief players to help us do the things we want to do. Coordinates with Security chief to vet new players.
Security Chief: Sebastian Rutger. Watchdog who looks at what’s happening, manages passwords, looks at individual hangers and audit logs and Corp transactions to curtail embezzlement. Vets new players, keeps active full API key on all players in the corp.
Fitting Manager: Sebastian Rutger. Our go-to guy for a solid fit for any ship, who researched fits, and goes and gets fits when one is needed and we don’t have one.
Corp Diplomat: Porthoce. Negotiates on behalf of the Corp. Can hire Allies in wartime.
War Chief: Steven Arji/Dark Djinn. Gives the orders and commands all Corp members during a war. Has authority to have members remain docked. Cannot force unwilling members to fight.

1) IDT Forum Screen Name - This is the name you use to post on the IDT forum. DO NOT post your account log in name unless they are the same (And that we do not recommend). Porthoce 2) Why would you like to join Industrial Dragon Tycoons? Looking for a quiet but active place to mine and manufacture. I am on daily on two accounts so I will always be around. 3) What do you expect from Industrial Dragon Tycoons? I get what I put into it. No more no less. 4) What is your Real Life age? Male or Female? 30 yr old male 5) Please tell us a little about yourself. Been playing various MMO's for 16 years. Of all of them I think EvE is in my top 2 or top 3. I work for a water n sewer company and when i get home i enjoy time with the family and playing the hell out of some video games. 6) Please tell us a bit about your gaming experience. As in ? 5 i have been playing MMO's religiously for 16 years. Anarchy Online, EvE, EQ1, Matrix Online, WoW, AoC, etc etc. Plan on getting Dust 514 eventually. 7) What is your play style in MMORPGS? What role do you usually fill? It depends on which game. I am good at playing any role I need/want to. Probably because of experiance and the ability to learn mmo game mechanics of different games fairly quickly. Do you agree to abide by our Code Of Conduct and Corp Charter (once we post one)? Absolutely. 9) List any other significant information here to be considered. I have a military toon on another account in an alliance in coalition with Test. I fly scouts and bombers mostly. We will do corporate mining ops and corporate mission running ops. Additionally we will have corporate assigned missions, specifically hauling missions, and will reward research and manufacturing efforts and some exploration efforts as well. The minerals and specific salvage that come from these ops will go to the corp who will use them to manufacture items, sell them, pay back any expenses to make them, then split the profit among it's members.
Our core concept for profit sharing: Regardless of the SP and skills of your character, an hour of any player's time is just as valuable as an hour of any other players time. Therefore, the rate is 1 hour of useful activity in ops or corp missions is awarded 1 profit share. At the end of the month we total the number of shares, divide the profit by it to determine the value of 1 profit share, then pay that amount to each member according to the number of profit shares they have earned.
For each corp op there is an op leader who sets up the op and tracks who participates, when they start and when they leave. This person may not be, for instance, the FC in mission ops - anyone can do it. But if time doesn't get reported, no shares are awarded, so someone needs to do it. Along with people and times, what ores/salvage are contributed (only need totals) are mailed to the Profit Sharing coordinator (which is Sebastian Rutger at the moment).
Salvage we need: Alloyed Tritanium Bars, Armor Plates, Burned Logic Circuits, Fried Interface Circuits, Melted Capacitor Consoles, and Ward Consoles. Basically, all the good stuff you normally like to sell. Sorry about that, but it's used for rigs, and we'll be making those, so we need them.

We enjoyed success all around with this adventure Sunday evening. Engaged in one combat mission that paid quite well. Suri took a trip to 0.0 space on a courier mission, and then we were out of time. It's roughly halfway done at this point we think. We're continuing this coming Sunday and hoping to push though to the end or close to it. The final mission of this is a BEAST we're told, and we'll probably need to look into a logistic ship or two so we can do it.
We had everyone bail out of the mission before the Courier mission completed, which is too bad as it was a 40,000,000 isk payout mission. If we have the same kind of participation in the next event that we had in this one, we're very likely to enjoy good success!

You're here, you're in the corp. Now what? You tell us! What do you want to do? We won't necessarily do anything and everything, but here's your chance to be heard and tell us what you want to do!

Welcome!
Our TeamSpeak 3 server: ts.craeton.com:10111 - There is no password, for now Download the TeamSpeak 3 client here: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads. The first time you log in you have to let it adjust your security settings when you join, which may take a minute or so. All members are required to be able to get on Voice Comms with us - even if you don't have a microphone - You will still be able to listen on fleet ops and it lets us talk to help you with fittings and answering questions, which is a LOT of typing.

What we did in our past, and are headed back to again:
Re: What IDT is all about. « Reply #1 on: December 28, 2009, 06:31:52 pm » (Excerpt from forum posting)
We've been progressing along as a corporation for a while now and we are approaching our next major milestone on the uber master plan of great evil domination and terror, a.k.a. project Cuddly Reptile. This milestone is 1 billion in corp cash. I expect we'll hit it either this weekend or the next; we're really very very close.
Our previous milestone was to make the corp self profiting and to pay the members of the corp who helped the corp to make those profits appropriate shares for their efforts. I hope you are all enjoying your monthly payouts.
So, where are we going with this Cuddly Reptile from here? This milestone triggers an event, which is making the Directors of the corporation owners by issuing shares of the corp to them. The next milestone has to do with our payout structure. As it is now, cash comes into the corporation from our efforts, and if anyone, including the corp, had to put cash in to make that project work they get paid off first, and the remainder is split between the corp and it's members. The corp is taking 2/3 of the cash, the members are getting 1/3 paid to them through the point system. You probably don't realize it, but this is you investing into the corp. What is the corp doing with that 2/3 of the cash it gets has everything to do with the next milestone. Various members, meaning Malichi Hew, have invested into the corporation to provide it with it's assets. The corp is purchasing these assets, at cost, from the investor(s) with that 2/3. Soon, the blueprint originals we use will be owned by the corp. Soon the POS will be owned by the corp. When all the assets of the corp are owned by the corp, we have achieved the next milestone.
What happens when we hit this milestone? The corporation changes. Shares of the corporation are issued to the full members of the corp at that time, and the corporation becomes member owned. 2/3 of the monthly profits are paid to the members instead of 1/3, and the corp gets 1/3 instead of 2/3 to buy new blueprints and other things it needs. You now own the corp (in part) that you belong to, and get paid handsomely for your efforts in it. This is what was initially envisioned for the corporation at its founding, and we are well on our way to achieving it.
Thank you all for helping us get this far! Your efforts are making this happen and you should be very proud of your results. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what we have to look forward to. We're building for all of our futures, we're building for strength, we're building our cuddly reptile! Hug it tight!

Industrial Dragon Tycoons is the core industrial group of a previous industrial corp that lost it's mind and decided to go and sacrifice all it's members and assets in 0.0 space, which they promptly did. We, the rational remnant, represent seasoned mission runners, miners, manufacturers, traders, and researchers. We are NEVER moving to 0.0 space! We are NEVER moving to lowsec! Wormhole Space, yeah, we'll be doing that, but only on a voluntary basis.
We have more fun doing what we do now than any lowsec or 0.0 adventure we've ever experienced, and we make more money. Massively more. We will soon have a HighSec POS facility again that we owned and operate allowing research and manufacturing opportunities otherwise not available. We'll again be manufacturing many items for sale to further generate corporate income. We run missions to provide salvage and rare minerals to the corp, and income to the participating members. From time to time we'll be taking over a piece of wormhole space, droping a POS into it, exploiting the sites in it, and mining all of the beautiful exotic and rare ores to be found there to support our manufacturing operations.
After expenses and growth fund contribution, the rest of the corporate income will be distributed out on a monthly basis to our members, divided among the members according to the activity points earned each month in corp activities. Trusted membership is earned by participation in these events, and receive full shares of profit sharing per participation point, members receive 1/3 shares of profit sharing per participation point at this time, though that split will increase to 2/3 in the near future. Even at 1/3, it's still very lucrative.
We are willing to train new players who join us and participate in corp activities. You can earn your ships, components, and rigs with us, and anything we cannot build can be purchased and provided to you at wholesale cost.
This is an adult organization for people capable and willing to act like adults. Please don't bring your drama in here. Our expectations are simple, and enforced. If we have to enforce something twice, chances are good that we aren't right for each other and you may be asked to leave. If we have to enforce it 3 time, you'll receive a nice award and be booted out of the corp.
Basically, just be cool. Don't shoot other corp members without their permission, don't scam them, don't screw them over. Simple.
